Inviting Team Members

Collaborate with your team by inviting members to your SnapGlyph organization. Share QR code management and analytics with colleagues.

Available on: Starter (1 user), Pro (5 users), Max (unlimited users)

Who Can Invite Members

Only Owners and Admins can invite new team members. Members cannot send invitations.

Sending an Invitation

Step 1: Go to Company Settings

  1. Go to Company Settings in the sidebar
  2. Click the Team tab

Step 2: Open Invite Form

Click Invite Member

Step 3: Enter Details

  1. Email Address: Enter the email of the person you’re inviting
  2. Role: Select the role for this member:
    • Admin: Can manage QR codes, invite members, and access settings
    • Member: Can view and create QR codes

Step 4: Send Invitation

  1. Click Send Invitation
  2. An email is sent to the invitee with a link to join

What the Invitee Receives

The invited person receives an email containing:

  • Your organization name
  • The role they’re being invited as
  • A link to accept the invitation

The invitation link expires after 7 days.

Pending Invitations

View and manage outstanding invitations:

  1. Go to Company Settings
  2. Find the Pending Invitations section
  3. See all invitations that haven’t been accepted yet

For each pending invitation, you can see:

  • Email address
  • Assigned role
  • When the invitation was sent

Canceling an Invitation

If you sent an invitation by mistake or it’s no longer needed:

  1. Find the invitation in the pending list
  2. Click Cancel next to it
  3. Confirm cancellation

The invitation link becomes invalid immediately.

Resending an Invitation

If the invitee didn’t receive or lost the email:

  1. Cancel the existing invitation
  2. Send a new invitation to the same email

Team Size Limits

Your plan determines how many team members you can have:

PlanTeam Members
Starter1 (just you)
Pro5
MaxUnlimited

If you’ve reached your limit:

  • Upgrade to a higher plan, or
  • Remove existing members to make room

Troubleshooting

Invitee didn’t receive email

  • Check they looked in spam/junk folders
  • Verify the email address is correct
  • Cancel and resend the invitation
  • Ask them to add noreply@snapglyph.com to contacts
  • Links expire after 7 days
  • Cancel the old invitation
  • Send a new one

Can’t send invitation

  • Verify you’re an Owner or Admin
  • Check you haven’t reached your team member limit
  • Ensure the email isn’t already a team member

Invitee already has an account

  • They can still accept using their existing account
  • They’ll be added to your organization
  • If they’re in another organization, they may need to leave it first
