Understanding Storage and Usage Limits

See how much storage and monthly API usage your organization has used against your plan's limits.

The Usage tab is a Company Settings view. Only Organization Owners and Admins can open it.

The Usage tab shows how much of your plan’s included resources your organization has used, including how much file storage you’ve consumed. Use it to see how close you are to a limit before it affects your account.

Where to Find Usage

  1. Open Company Settings.
  2. Open the Usage tab.

If you don’t see the Company Settings group, you’re signed in as a Member. The Usage tab is only available to Organization Owners and Admins.

Plan Limits

The Plan limits card lists the resources included with your current plan. Each row shows how much you’ve used against the limit, with a progress bar:

  • Team members
  • Dynamic QR codes
  • Short links
  • Link hubs
  • Custom domains
  • Parameter value presets
  • Storage

Rows that your plan includes without a fixed cap show an Unlimited badge instead of a bar. Rows your plan doesn’t include show Not included.

The progress bar changes color as you get closer to a limit: it turns yellow once you pass 80% of the limit, and red once you reach or exceed it.

The Storage Meter

The Storage row shows how many megabytes (or gigabytes) of file storage your organization has used against your plan’s storage quota.

Storage quotas by plan:

  • Free: 25 MB
  • Starter: 100 MB
  • Pro: 1 GB
  • Growth: 5 GB
  • Max: 10 GB

What Counts Toward Storage

Storage is measured across all the files your organization uploads to SnapGlyph, including:

  • PDFs you upload for PDF QR codes and PDF links
  • Logos and images you add to QR codes
  • Images you upload to your link hubs

Storage is shared across your whole organization, not per member.

When you replace or remove an uploaded file, the space it used isn’t always freed instantly. SnapGlyph runs a background cleanup that releases the storage from replaced or abandoned uploads after a short grace period, so your storage total may take up to a day to catch up after you delete or swap a file.

Monthly Usage

The Monthly usage card tracks usage that resets each month:

  • API data requests
  • API image credits

The card shows the date your usage resets. API limits apply per member, and the totals shown here are the sum across everyone in your organization for the current month.

Nearing a Limit

The Usage tab is informational: it shows you where you stand so you can act before a limit gets in your way. If a meter is turning yellow or red, consider whether you need to remove unused files or upgrade to a plan with a higher quota.
